Dhampir

Born of mortal and vampire heritage — or transformed by vampiric feeding that didn’t fully kill. Dhampir are half in the world of the living, half drawn toward blood. They hunger without fully needing; they age without dying easily. They are not monsters, but they carry something monstrous in them, and most people sense it.

Racial Traits

Creature Type: Humanoid (Lineage) Darkvision: 60 ft. Spider Climb: Climb speed equal to walk speed, including upside-down on ceilings. Vampiric Bite: Fangs are a natural weapon (1d4 piercing). On a hit, you deal damage and regain HP equal to the piercing damage dealt. Once per turn. Undead Resilience: Advantage on saves vs. disease and vs. being frightened.

Appearance

Human-like but slightly off — skin paler than it should be, eyes that catch light like a cat’s, canines that are just a little too sharp. Dhampir run cold to the touch. Their beauty, if they have it, tends toward the unsettling — the kind of face you find yourself staring at before you realize why you’re uncomfortable.

Found In

The Duchy of Saxolace (deeply entangled with necromantic powers and vampiric noble families) and the County of Mornolace. Rare elsewhere; a Dhampir far from these regions typically has a story about why.
