Kobold

Small, reptilian, and endlessly underestimated — Kobolds have survived by being smarter than they look and more dangerous in groups than anyone expects. They are cunning trapmakers, fierce in packs, and deeply devoted to their draconic patrons. In Amantia, they are not mere monsters; they are a people with their own dignity, craft, and loyalty.

Racial Traits

Creature Type: Humanoid (Draconic) Size: Small Darkvision: 60 ft. Draconic Cry: As a bonus action, let out a cry that grants yourself and allies within 10 ft advantage on attack rolls until the start of your next turn. Once per short or long rest. Crafty: Proficiency with one type of artisan’s tools of your choice. Pack Tactics: Advantage on attack rolls against a creature if at least one of your allies is within 5 ft of the creature and the ally isn’t incapacitated.


Appearance

Small (2–3 ft), wiry, and quick. Scales in a variety of colours depending on the draconic lineage they serve — red, blue, black, green, white, metallic. Wide eyes well-suited to dim light; tails used for balance. Their expressions are often misread as simple — they aren’t.


Found In

Dragon-adjacent territories and underground regions throughout Amantia. Found in the March of Dravdrakdal and the Molruss Tzardom in significant numbers.
