Tabaxi
Often called cat-people or catfolk, Tabaxi are humanoid cat-folk that take the form of various large cat species depending on their homeland. Tall, agile, and endlessly curious — most Tabaxi are driven by an insatiable need to wander and learn. They accumulate stories and knowledge the way others accumulate gold.

Society & Culture
Tabaxi typically live in clans in their homelands where they are superior hunters. But their insatiable curiosity drives many to leave — becoming wanderers and seekers of knowledge and experience. While they appreciate gold and fine things, Tabaxi would genuinely rather hear a fascinating story than be paid in coin.
Most venerate — or at least pay lip service to — the Cat Goddess Bast or Nobanion, the Lord of Lions (particularly Leonin Tabaxi). When they finally grow older, many return home to entertain the kittens with their wild tales.
Tabaxi alignment tends toward Chaotic, following impulse and curiosity — except Leonin, who tend Lawful, prizing hierarchy and structure.
