Cervitaur

Where Centaurs claim the open plain, Cervitaurs belong to the deep forest. The upper body of a humanoid fused to the lower body of a deer — more graceful than their horse-kin, built for swift movement through dense woodland rather than open-ground charges. Their Fae heritage runs close to the surface, and they are deeply attuned to forest magic and the spirits of the wild.
Racial Traits
Creature Type: Fae (Humanoid/Beast hybrid) Speed: 35 ft. Fae Ancestry: Advantage on saves vs. charm; immune to magical sleep. Forest Movement: Difficult terrain in natural environments (forest, undergrowth, brush) does not cost extra movement. Natural Grace: Advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks in forested or natural terrain.
Appearance
Slender and elegant compared to Centaurs — deer legs are built for silent movement and bursts of speed, not heavy charges. Many males carry antlers, which vary enormously by individual; some have elaborate multi-tined racks, others small velvet nubs. Coat typically matches forest colours — fawn, dappled brown, grey.
Found In
Forest regions, almost exclusively in Fae-touched areas of the Siórtharan kingdoms. Rarely encountered far from old-growth woodland.
