Satyr

Pure Fae — carefree, hedonistic, and possessed of a magic resistance that makes them maddening to fight or control. Satyrs pursue pleasure and experience with unashamed enthusiasm. They love music, wine, revelry, and mischief, and they do not especially care that others find this irresponsible. Life is short for most beings; why spend it being serious?

Racial Traits

Creature Type: Fae Ram: Natural weapon (1d4 + Strength modifier bludgeoning); proficient. As a bonus action after moving 20 ft, can shove a target. Magic Resistance: Advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. Mirthful Leaps: Add 1d8 to long jump and high jump distances. Fey Ancestry: Advantage on saves vs. charm; immune to magical sleep. Languages: Common, Elvish, and Sylvan.

Appearance

Upper body of a human — usually lithe and expressive — with curved horns of varying size sprouting from the forehead, and the lower body of a goat complete with hooves. Fur on the goat portions ranges from tan to dark brown. Eyes are often bright and amused. They radiate an energy that is hard to ignore.

Found In

Fae-adjacent regions, particularly the High Kingdom of the Green Stars and forest regions with strong Feywild connections. Often encountered at revels, crossroads, and anywhere a party is happening that shouldn’t be.
