Fae’ri
Fallen/Altered Fae — Three Subtypes
Fae’ri are Fae (or Fae-blooded beings) whose connection to the Feywild has been fundamentally altered — through exile, corruption, trauma, or a bargain gone catastrophically wrong. They retain Fae power and Fae beauty, but something in them has been broken and remade into something new. Three distinct forms exist.
Racial Traits (All Fae'ri)
Creature Type: Fae (Altered) Fey Ancestry: Advantage on saves vs. charm; immune to magical sleep. Darkvision: 60 ft. Altered Glamour: Cast Disguise Self once per short rest. Charisma is the spellcasting ability. Subtype Trait: See each subtype below.
Ashblood Fae’ri

Fae’ri touched by fire or destruction — perhaps exiled from the Seelie Court, or who passed through a place where the Feywild itself was scarred. Ash-pale skin; ember-red or charred-black markings that shift when they feel strong emotion; often carrying a cool, controlled rage beneath a beautiful exterior.
Subtype Trait — Ember’s Edge: Resistance to fire damage. Once per short rest, when you hit with a melee attack, deal an additional 1d6 fire damage.
Alignment: Often Chaotic Neutral or Chaotic Good — driven by suppressed fury and the desperate need to never lose control.
Glamourbound Fae’ri

Fae’ri who have become trapped in their own glamour — illusion and self-deception have become part of their nature. They are the tricksters, the masked ones. Many Glamourbound Fae’ri do not fully know what they truly look like underneath the layers of glamour they’ve built up over years or centuries.
Subtype Trait — Living Mask: You can cast Mirror Image once per long rest without expending a spell slot. Additionally, you have advantage on Charisma (Deception) and Charisma (Performance) checks.
Alignment: Often Chaotic, with wildly varying moral compass — the Glamourbound have a complicated relationship with truth.
Riftwing Fae’ri

Fae’ri who were touched by planar rifts — their connection is not just to the Feywild but to the cracks between worlds. Something of the Between clings to them. Often bearing strange, asymmetrical features: one eye glowing while the other is dark, wings that are partially transparent or made of shadow, markings that don’t follow the body’s natural lines.
Subtype Trait — Rift Step: Once per short rest, as a bonus action, teleport up to 30 ft to an unoccupied space you can see. When you teleport, you briefly become partially incorporeal — attacks of opportunity against you have disadvantage until the start of your next turn.
Alignment: Often Neutral, with planar detachment — the Riftwing see too many realities at once to commit fully to any one perspective.
