Winter Court Faerie

Full Fae — beings of the Feywild’s Unseelie Court. Winter Court Faerie are tied to cold, silence, endings, and preservation. Precise, deliberate, and often calculating, they understand the necessity of death and dormancy in the natural cycle — and they are utterly without sentiment about it. They are not cruel by nature; they are simply honest about what the world is.

Appearance
Skin carrying a cool pallor — whites, pale blues, and icy silvers. Frost forms where they linger too long. Hair in whites, silvers, and deep blues; eyes like ice over dark water. They move with deliberate economy — no wasted motion, no unnecessary expression. They are beautiful the way a glacier is beautiful: still, immense, and ancient.
Culture & The Court Tension
Winter Court Faerie value patience, precision, and the long view. They make plans in decades. They remember slights from centuries past with the same clarity they remember what happened yesterday. Their apparent coldness is not emotional absence — they feel deeply — but they have learned that showing feeling is a vulnerability, and they do not give vulnerabilities away.
The Summer and Winter Courts exist in a state of ancient tension — rarely open war, but a slow, eternal rivalry played out through mortal proxies, political maneuvering, and the turning of seasons. A Winter Court Faerie meeting a Summer Court Faerie in the mortal world is never a coincidence.
